My third race has officially come to an end and I couldn’t be more in awe of how faithful, intentional, and generous the Lord is! Over the course of the last two months, God has truly deepened my understanding of the fact that His grace is sufficient and that His power is perfected in weakness. Being the only squad leader for L Squad certainly stretched me in ways I didn’t expect but I also wouldn’t have had it any other way.

Having a front row seat to all that the Lord has been doing in and through these racers has truly been a privilege and a blessing. The nine men & women that make up L Squad are each an answered prayer and I couldn’t be more proud of them! In a world that at times feels far from Kingdom, it brings me an immense refreshing joy to see young adults pursuing Jesus with everything they have.

Our squad’s mentors asked me if I was sad to leave L Squad and of course my answer was “yes,” but also my excitement for these racers far outweighs any grief I may retain. While I have grown to love each of them, I know that the Lord loves them all more than I ever could and that He has so much more in store for them as they continue to walk with Him into their next seasons and beyond.

The beauty of life with Christ is that until He comes back or we meet Him face to face, we’re never done learning about Him or being sanctified into His image. This reality can feel overwhelming, but what a hope it is to know that the work is already finished and that all we get to do is abide in Him! Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever! Amen!

Until next time,

Hannah
