Taking a gap year is something I never thought I’d do…and yet here we are! Putting college plans on pause to have the kingdom-journey experience of a lifetime. Of course, being a senior in high school I had everything figured out, or so I thought. That is, until I heard about the World Race Gap Year. I honestly have no idea what I’m getting myself into but I can’t wait for this adventure!
A little bit about me! I’d say I’m an introvert but I love to talk once you get to know me. I enjoy meeting new people and having new experiences. When I’m not at church or school, I’m probably spending time with family & friends, watching basketball, or reading. I’m originally from California, but I moved to Oklahoma at the age of 15. Who knew 2 years later I’d eventually be moving to 4 different countries on a mission trip! I can’t wait for this next chapter and all that will come with it. I’m already so filled with gratitude for this opportunity, the people I’ll meet, and the experiences I’ll have. God is good all the time and all the time God is good!
You were born to do this! It is the time to do this. Isn’t God good!? I will remember to pray for you and I have no doubt you will be changed and the world will be imacted by your obedience.
Thank you so much Mrs. Keeney!! God is so good, I’m so thankful for this chapter here in Oklahoma and for being able to have you as my teacher 🙂
